European style meets glorious views of the Pacific at this large beach house, right off the famous “Twin Lake” beach at Santa Cruz harbor.
With 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, a spacious, light filled living room, 3 separate balconies and a roof deck with a view across the whole Monterey Bay and TWO lighthouses, this beach house accommodates even the biggest family or group of friends.
One block away from the famous Twin Lake beach (within the Santa Cruz “sun belt”), right next to the beautiful Harbor and local’s favorite beach restaurant “Crow’s Nest”, it has simply the best location in Santa Cruz. “Twin Lakes” beach offers Volleyball Nets, Fire Ring Pits, & Picturesque Views of 2 Landmark Lighthouses and the Yacht Harbor Entrance.
The Backyard offers a Jacuzzi and a hot and cold outdoor shower for getting the sand off after a day at the beach. The rooftop offers a great BBQ and a beautiful six chair combination.
For the active lifestyle we provide 3 bikes, 2 surfboards (long and short board) as well as 2 kayaks for free use by our guests. For couch potatoes, we offer free wireless DSL access, a 42” and a 52” HDTV with DirecTV and DVD – all powered by our own photovoltaic system.
Our house offers 7(!) private parking lots so never again worry about getting a ticket.
Why “Vienna at the beach”? Because first, we (the owner family) come from Vienna, Austria and, second, we want our house to combine the charm and comfort that our home town stands for with the amazing beauty of California’s coast.

Roof Deck: This is the sweet spot of the house! A huge deck with a 360 degree view of the Monterey bay and both Santa Cruz Lighthouses! Make use of the massive BBQ and the beautiful six chair patio or relax on one of the nice sun chairs and watch the sailboats cruising into the Santa Cruz harbor. |

House:This beautiful house has been built with one though in mind: access to the sun and the fresh Pacific air. Every room upstairs has access to two balconies, facing West and East so that you never miss the sun.
Everything is new in this house: leather sofa, design table, kitchen appliances, quality beds, etc. etc.
Mundane but very helpful: tons of private parking just off the most desirable beach of Santa Cruz. |

Living Room: Our spacious living room features three fronts of glass and access to two balconies with spectacular views of the harbor.
A wonderful leather sofa set, a unique dining table that seats 14 comfortably, a 52” HDTV with DirecTV and DVD, and exposed high beam ceilings beaming with sunlight – this is the prime spot of our house – except of course, our roof deck. |

Kitchen: The kitchen is situated in the main living room with a beautiful 4-Seat breakfast bar. It is fully stocked with silverware, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and serving utensils. There is also a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee press, rice cooker, hot plate/skillet and a crock pot. |

Master Bedroom: The upstairs master bedroom is a unique and romantic hideaway with a private bathroom, access to two private balconies on each side of the room and a king size bed. It’s large, sunny and offers plenty of storage space. |

Master bathroom:The en-suite bathroom offers a jetted tub and dual-head shower as well as direct access to a private balcony.

Upstairs Bedroom 2: This small, yet charming bedroom offers very nice harbor views and a queen bed.

Patio & Hot Spa: Our private patio offers a great Avocado tree and a 4 people Jacuzzi and a hot and cold outdoor shower for getting the sand off after a day at the beach.

Twin Lake Beach: The beach has a mile of sandy shoreline and is popular for swimming and picnicking. The park's adjacent Schwann Lake is a good location for bird watching. It is one of the area's warmest beaches.
This is a great place for bonfires as it offers fire pits. It also offers volleyball nets and is great for skim surfing!
What makes this beach really special is the picturesque view of the landmark lighthouse and the Yacht Harbor Entrance with great restaurants such as the “Crow’s Nest”, a coffee shop and a great Mexican take out restaurant! |
