VAQUITA HOUSE :
We offer a beautiful two bedroom, one bath home on prestigious Opal Cliff Drive. The Vaquita House is a newly remodeled cottage steps from “Privates” beach, our gated neighborhood beach. We will provide you with a key to access this unique private beach and great uncrowded surf spot. A five minute walk along the ocean will take you to shopping and dining in Capitola Village and awesome Capitola Beach . Famous surf spots the “Hook” and “Pleasure Point” are also just a short walk away. The Vaquita House, located in front of our home, comes complete with a full kitchen and new stainless steel appliances, flat screen TV, DVD/VHS player, stereo/CD player, telephone for local calls, new washer and dryer, wireless internet access, and private patio with seating and grill. Vaquita House sleeps 1-4 and is perfect for a romantic getaway or family beach vacation.

Private Beach: Vaquita House is steps from “Privates” beach, our gated neighborhood beach. Enjoy the surf at this uncrowded surf break or relax on the beach while watching otters and dolphins. We will provide you with a key to access this unique private beach.

Living Room: Relax on the comfy couch and oversized sofa chair in the bright, sunny living room. This room is great for watching movies or surfing the web with the wireless internet connection. |

Fun beach décor: Vaquita House has hardwood floors in the main living space and carpeted bedrooms. Surf themed art work and several Vaquita pieces fill the house with a laid back vacation feel. |

Bali Room: The Bali room has a queen bed and tropical décor. The Bali room has a walk-in closet and a view of the landscaped patio. |

Captiva Room: The Captiva room is a bright summer themed room with two twin beds and a closet. This room also accesses the landscaped patio. |

Beautiful mosaic tiled bathroom: Custom glass mosaic tiles inlayed throughout the bathroom. Large shower with bath tub and glass doors. |

Private, enclosed patio: Relax in the sun with seating for fowr surrounded by flowers and birds, including hummingbirds. The patio deck is perfect for barbgcuing on the grill or relaxing with a glass of wine. |

Perfect location: Less than a ten minute walk along the water to Capitola Wharf, Capitola Village, Capitola Beach, Pleasure Point, great shopping, and fine dining. Vaquita House is a short drive to downtown Santa Cruz and the beach boardwalk, 30 minutes to Monterey, and 90 minutes to San Francisco. |

OTHER INFORMATION:
VAQUITA: The ‘Vaquita' is an endangered porpoise found only in the Gulf of California . There are no more than 600 Vaquitas left in the world. Vaquita House contains art featuring Vaquitas and information about this tiny porpoise and what needs to be done to save the Vaquita. For each week stay at Vaquita House, we will make a small donation to CEDO, a conservation organization working to save the Vaquita. |
