Allegra Villa Alla Spiaggia: Our luxury second-floor Santa Cruz beach rental, located a few houses from the beach, exudes Mediterranean charm and offers panoramic ocean views of Monterey Bay.  A spacious living room, dining room and kitchen open onto an expansive rear deck.  During your days, a short walk, without crossing any streets, leads to the top of a wood, railed stairway to the beach, and an outdoor shower awaits you upon your return.  Spend a romantic evening listening to the waves crashing on the beach or drown them out with the surround sound of the state-of-the-art home theatre system.

Three bedrooms and two baths offer comfortable sleeping in five beds for up to seven guests.  Each of the bedrooms has a separately-controlled heater.  Enjoy the wonders of the natural world with stone floors in both bathrooms, granite countertops throughout, and three radiant skylights.

Our newly remodeled Santa Cruz beach house has insulated walls and double-pane windows, which will allow you to sleep peacefully even if the kids are still awake.  So that you don’t lose touch with the outside world, high-speed wireless and wired internet are provided, in addition to HD cable.  Finally, a washer and gas dryer will ensure that your clothes come home just as clean as they were when you arrived.

Our vacation home is packed with everything you will need to enjoy your escape, including: a hypoallergenic comforter for each bed; a 52 inch TV and in-ceiling surround sound system in the living room; a 40 inch TV in the master bedroom; Blu-Ray Players for each TV, allowing for viewing both Blu-Ray Discs and DVDs; an iPod connection to the living room speakers; and beautiful gas fireplaces in both the living room and the master bedroom.

Our beach house was remodeled with an eye towards energy conservation.  All windows are double-paned and coated for UV protection.  All exterior and interior walls, ceilings and floors are insulated.  Honey-combed window treatments provide additional insulation.  Each of the dishwasher, clothes washer and gas dryer is high efficiency, and a tankless water heater provides heated water only when needed so as to minimize energy consumption.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is about a 10 minute drive; ride the historic Big Dipper and enjoy a great family outing.  The Santa Cruz harbor is just over a mile to the west, where you can check out the lighthouse and some nice restaurants.  Pleasure Point, where you can experience some of the best surfing in the United States, is only a short mile away.  Capitola is less than 3 miles to the east; take a walk down the pier or cruise around the local shops.

	The spacious living room includes a separate sitting area away from the fray and adjacent the rear deck.  A commanding view of the nearby beach is offered from the copper-railed deck.
	The expansive living room includes a 52 inch 1080p LCD television and in ceiling surround sound for full time entertainment.  A hardwood decorated gas fireplace sits beneath the television for providing the room with warmth and a glow in the evening.
	The dining room, which adjoins the family room, includes a hardwood table for six as well as bar seating for three.
	Granite countertops, cherry cabinets, a dual fuel range, a dishwasher, a refrigerator and a microwave adorn the fully-stocked gourmet kitchen.  Under-cabinet lighting offers subdued kitchen lighting during the evening.
	The open bar connects the kitchen to the living and dining rooms, and the views beyond.
	The master bedroom has a Cal King bed, a romantic gas fireplace, a 40 inch 1080P LCD TV with a Blu-Ray player, a large walk in closet and a private master bath.  A cozy loveseat is situated next to the bed with a view of the fireplace and TV.  An exterior door allows access to the rear deck.
	The private master bath has two sinks set in a granite countertop with iridescent hues and travertine floors.  A walk-in, stone-lined shower is situated opposite the vanity and includes a stone seat, a shower head and separate hand spray, and glass block imaged with the Big Dipper from the Santa Cruz Boardwalk in one wall.
	The first guest bedroom comfortably sleeps three in a queen bed and an extra long twin bed.  Each bedroom has a separately-controlled heater and a closet.
	The second guest bedroom has two extra long twin beds
	The airy guest bath includes a tub and shower arrangement walled in travertine stone.
	A decorative train track loops around the top of the entry stairway.

	Other Information: All stays are subject to a 10% occupancy tax.  Normal cleaning is included in the above rates.  Please contact me for directions to our website, which contains additional information.
	Laundry Facilities: Laundry closet with high efficiency and high capacity clothes washer and gas dryer.  Detergent is included.
	Parking: Parking for two cars is provided on the driveway.  Street parking is also available.  A guest parking permit is provided during the permit parking season.
	PETS: Sorry, no zoo animals or other pets.
	Linens: Linens, hypoallergenic comforters and pillows and plush towels are provided.
	Check In and Out Times: Check in is 3:00 pm or later, check out is 11:00 am or earlier
	Security Deposit: A $500 security deposit is required.  The deposit is fully refunded if no damage or excessive cleaning.
