1591 East Cliff Drive : This 2-story, 3000sq ft home sits directly across from one of the best beaches in Santa Cruz - Seabright Beach. Full-length windows overlook the beach and Santa Cruz Pier. You can watch the sunset while barbecuing on the spacious balcony or lie in bed listening to the waves. Our home offers an exciting yet relaxing atmosphere that is unmatched by other beach rentals.

Seabright State Beach, known to locals as Castle Beach, is a south-facing beach with the reputation of being the warmest, sunniest beach on the Monterey Bay. Great for families, this State Beach has restrooms and lifeguards*, and since our home sits at Castle’s main entrance, there are no stairs or cliffs to climb up and down. Enjoy roasting marshmallows on one of the only beaches that allows bonfires. Plus traffic is much lighter here compared to other popular beaches. Seabright Beach lies between the Santa Cruz Harbor where charter boats, Hobie cats and kayaks can be rented for the day, and the famed Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, home of the Giant Dipper roller coaster.

The Seabright area is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Santa Cruz. Centrally located, you are only a short walk from coffee shops, delis and great restaurants. Even with small kids you can walk to the Harbor and the Boardwalk! The Beach Boardwalk has rides and attractions for all ages, and just minutes away are several theaters, the downtown shopping district, and activities such as concerts, roller skating, bowling, laser tag, climbing, hiking, biking and much more.

Our home offers 4+ bedrooms/3.5 baths, including 2 master bedrooms with inviting beach views. There are beds for up to 16 people as well as other attractive features:

- Upstairs, the spacious living room features an entire wall of full-length sliding glass doors that access the balcony and provide spectacular beach views. Our balcony is considered by many neighbors as the best in the area. There is also an outdoor gas BBQ, a dining table that seats 14 comfortably, a 52” HDTV with DirecTV and DVD, a gas fireplace, and exposed high beam ceilings.

- The kitchen is fully stocked with silverware, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and serving utensils. There is also a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee press, rice cooker, hot plate/skillet and a crock pot. The kitchen includes a small island with barstools and a large pantry.

- The upstairs master bedroom has a king size bed, a walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub and dual-head shower.

- The downstairs master bedroom is a studio suite with a full-size Murphy bed, kitchenette/dinning area, bathroom, 42” HDTV with DirecTV and DVD, and wood burning fireplace.

- Two additional downstairs bedrooms each have a twin-over-full bunk bed, generous closet space, and a shared bathroom.

- The converted attached garage offers additional sleeping and serves as a game room. This room has two twin bunk beds with trundles (sleeps total of 6), a foosball table, and full bathroom (shared with the suite).

- There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a hose to rinse off the sand.

This house is ideal for an extended family/family reunion, two-family retreat or other small get togethers.

	Other Information: Two night minimum rental, except peak season when the minimum rental is seven nights. Rates do not include taxes, cleaning fees or security deposit. Rates are subject to change.  Please call or email for rates and minimum nights for Holidays, spring break, and graduation week.  Reservations are held only after receipt of deposit and contract.
